GENERAL FEATURES

The ANAND ASAHI Water Meters fall under the group of inferential Multijet Water Meters having a completely Dry Dial, direct Magnetic Drive and straight reading in Cubic Meters or Kilo Litres (as requested by the Customer). The Body and Casing Head are made from Brass (60/40).

  • The Counter and Gear Train are housed in a strong case, protected by a thick glass from the top with sufficient packing to keep the Dial and Gears clean throughout the life of the Meter.
  • High quality Ferrule Magnets ensure life long coupling and no slippage at the highest flow rates.
  • Non-magnetic stainless steel shafts for a durable and trouble free performance.
  • No moving parts in water except the Vane Wheel. The Vane Wheel is light in weight and rests on a uniformly curved pivot point.
  • Jewels are provided for reducing friction allowing free rotation thus permitting recording at a very low flow rate.
  • Pilot star is provided to check the sensitivity at the low rate of flow.
  • All parts are interchangeable and damaged parts can be replaced independently at a low cost. The casting of the Water Meters are done by Gravity Die Casting using special steel dies with shell cores thus providing a uniform wall thickness.

Woltman meters of the WPH type are used for metering and measuring flow rates with small fluctuations. The meters are completely dry dial, only the turbine runs in the wet chamber. The counter roller runs in the dry chamber, is encapsulated, evacuated and protected against flooding and can be rotated. Condensation does not form inside the transparent cap, reading is thus not hindered. The loss of head is very small.

Our Woltman Meters are notable for their long-term stability. All Anand Zenner the products are based on nearly 135 years of combined experience of Anand Asahi and Zenner Zahler. The materials used, especially the bearing materials, are tested time and again in long-duration tests. The measuring inserts are removable. The Woltman meters can be fitted, as an option with a remote reading device. The Woltman meters are also available, as an option, fitted with DYLFIN, the electronic metering module. Flange connection : As per ISI / ISO / DIN or as required by the Customer.

Anand Zenner Flow through type Dirt Box Strainers are designed for flow through and free flow of water. Sufficient gap is provided between the body and the dirt box so that the flow of water is unrestricted. The flow through design is ideally suited to protect damage to water meters installed in the pipe line.

Sizes available from 50mm to 250mm.

Head loss is minimum owing to the unique design of the Dirt Box. Pressure loss is maintained between the range of 0.1 to 0.5 Kg/Cm2

The Basket, made of stainless steel (SS 304) is designed to hold the residue at the bottom. Even if dirt collects and fills a third of the basket, water flows freely. The Basket can be removed easily to cleaning and removal of accumulated dirt. All the Anand Zenner products are based on nearly 135 years of combined experience of Anand Asahi and Zenner Zahler. The Dirt Box can be provided with a vent valve and drain plug as required. Flange connection : As per ISI / ISO / DIN or as required by the Customer. Test pressure: 25 Kg / cm2.
